Nintendo has announced its promised follow-up to last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation. In just a few hours, the company will host a second 3DS Direct for Japan. It’ll be taking place at 6 AM ET / 3 AM PT.

We do know that Nintendo will be talking about third-party titles in the early morning. What surprises – if any – could be in store?

The screenshots above show off the new Ninja Trials coming to Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge later this month.

And just like that, Watch Dogs has been officially confirmed for Wii U. We’ve posted the official announcement below, which covers the newly announced PS4 release as well.

Since this game seems to be all but confirmed for Wii U, I suppose it’d be safe to post this! It’s footage from the PlayStation 4 version, though the Wii U version will look somewhat similar.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is launching on Wii U next month. EA originally published the game back in November. Going forward, Criterion has confirmed that future releases in the series will arrive on the Wii U at the same time as other platforms.

A new Call of Duty: Black Ops II update is live on the Wii U. The patch comes with standard improvements, tweaks, and more. Patch notes aren’t out yet, but we’ll post them as soon as Treyarch publishes the list online.

After MercurySteam wrapped up development on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, the studio was floundering a bit. The team didn’t have any new projects to take on once its game was done. That put MercurySteam in a difficult position, as it would be nearly impossible to continue paying employees.

Thankfully, Konami and MercurySteam eventually agreed on a new Castlevania for the 3DS, which we now know as Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate. Before the deal was signed, though, there was a strong possibility that MercurySteam would have been forced to close.
