Pokemon Scarlet and Violet reveal Tera Raid Battles with Eevee and Charizard

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have announced the first Tera Raid Battles, which will feature Charizard and Eevee.
Tera Raid Battle events will be held regularly following launch and allow players to take on specific Pokemon or encounter Pokemon with certain Tera Types more frequently. While the Tera Raid crystals related to these events may look ordinary at first glance, they’re shrouded in a mysterious aura.
The first of these Tera Raid Battle events will be the Eevee Spotlight, and that’s happening between November 24 and November 27. While active, Eevee with various Tera Types will appear more frequently in Tera Raid Battles.
As for the Charizard Tera Raid Battle in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, it’ll initially go live between December 1 and December 4, A second round will follow between December 15 and December 18.
The Pokemon Company notes that Charizard can’t normally be encountered in Paldea, and the one showing up here has Dragon as its Tera Type. It’ll have the Mightiest Mark and can be found in black crystal Tera Raid Battles.
As you play the game, you may come across black crystals that look different than the ones you’d ordinarily approach to take on a Tera Raid Battle. The Pokemon you face here are much stronger than those that appear in ordinary Tera Raid Battles and are only available for a limited time. By defeating these Pokemon, you can earn rewards that are even more exciting than usual. Black crystals can be obtained after completing certain postgame events, but those who haven’t completed the event may still participate by joining other Trainers in multiplayer by using a Link Code.
