Pokemon Sword/Shield now featuring Gigantamax Machamp, Gigantamax Orbeetle, and more in Max Raid Battle event

The latest Max Raid Battle event has gone live in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.
The Fighting-type Pokemon Machamp, Lucario, and Falinks are more likely to appear. The same goes for the Psychic-type Pokemon Gothitelle, Reuniclus, and Orbeetle. If you’re lucky enough, you may encounter Gigantamax Machamp or Gigantamax Orbeetle.
To participate in this new event, connect your Switch system to the internet. After this, when you see a pillar of light shining from a Pokemon Den in the Wild Area, walk up to it and interact to kick off a Max Raid Battle.
Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be hosting this Max Raid Battle event through February.
