Scene from King K. Rool’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate trailer seems to be a nod to Rhythm Heaven

Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct ended with the reveal of King K. Rool. There’s one scene in particular that has fans wondering what it could mean from Rhythm Heaven.
The image above is taken early from today’s trailer. As it turns out, there are substantial similarities. Now let’s take a look at Rhythm Heaven Fever:
There’s no denying that you can make multiple comparisons here. The way Donkey Kong is lying in front of the television and the TV itself are identical in many ways. But does that mean Rhythm Heaven’s Karate Joe will be playable in Smash Bros. Ultimate? Something smaller like an Assist Trophy? Only time will tell.
