SEGA’s latest financial results are in, and it has brought along some encouraging news for the Wii U and 3DS.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed sales at 1.36 million in the US and Europe. 310,000 units were sold on Wii U worldwide, and another 190,000 copies were moved on 3DS.

Even better, it would seem that SEGA is planning seven SKUs for Wii U in the coming year, which is the same number as the PlayStation 3 and four more than the Xbox 360. While most of these SKUs are likely new games, SEGA could be counting items such as special editions as well.

The 3DS will be receiving continued support as well with six SKUs in the pipeline. There aren’t any SKUs coming to the DS, unsurprisingly.

For both the Wii U and 3DS, SEGA expects to move just slightly below one million in software sales for each platform.
