The Japanese entertainment brand Shueisha is opening a new subsidiary focused on gaming called Shueisha Games. This division will expand on the program that was established by the company last year, Shueisha Game Creators CAMP, which is a collaborative of over 4,000 creators including game developers, manga artists, novelists, visual artists, illustrators, and sound creators.

The game developers in this group are already hard at work, and it sounds like Shueisha Games will expand on these efforts moving forward. They have a number of games already in development, which can be viewed on their official website, including a tactics game releasing on Switch called Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimension.

More Switch games will surely be announced by this gaming division in the future, but for now feel free to check out a trailer and details about Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimension to Switch below.

Overview
“Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions” is a tactical action game. Our gameplay is divided between free-roaming exploration segments and strategic battles with light puzzle & stealth elements.

Damien is an extremely creative and imaginative teenager born in a binational French-Japanese family. Damien’s personal world shatters when his parents tell him that they decided to leave France to go live in Japan, a country he mostly knows about from all the manga he reads. Damien will have to call upon his superhero persona, Captain Velvet Meteor, to cope with the anxiety of being in a completely new place. He will face his fears and grow up through the power of his imagination by calling upon his favorite Jump+ characters to help him on his quest to escape a mysterious planet and an unknown monster army.
