Splatoon 2 currently down for emergency maintenance

Update: Just like that, everything is back up and running. Thankfully the downtime didn’t last very long at all.
Original: If you’re having issues with Splatoon 2’s online functionality, there’s a reason for that. Nintendo is currently conducting emergency maintenance.
Splatoon 2’s network services were impacted starting at 11:31 AM PT / 2:31 PM ET / 7:31 PM in the UK / 8:31 PM in Europe. This is still ongoing. When it ends, we’ll let you know.
