Publisher 101XP and developer Trinity Team today confirmed that they’ll be releasing The Darkest Tales on Switch. The nightmarish action adventure title is due out on October 13, 2022.

Blind Fate: Edo no Yami had originally received a release date of September 15, but the Switch version seems to have suffered a minor setback. Thankfully, publisher 101XP and developer Troglobytes Games have confirmed that fans won’t have to wait long to play the title, as the game will release next week on September 22, 2022.

Blind Fate: Edo No Yami release date

Blind Fate: Edo No Yami now has a release date on Switch, with publisher 101XP and developer Troglobytes Games announcing today that the title is slated for September 15, 2022.

The project was first confirmed back in September 2021. It’s a 2.5D sci-fi action adventure game set in a world now ruled by bloodthirsty machines. Read more about it below.

A world that blends technology and folklore comes to life in Blind Fate: Edo no Yami, a ‘slash-and-blast action side-scroller’ coming to Switch from publisher 101XP and developer Troglobytes Games. You take on the role of Yami, a blind demon hunting cyber-samurai that tracks down and slays mysterious Youkai in a technologically twisted Edo period. Japanese folk tales meet robotics in this interesting mashup of history and technology.
