Developer ACQUIRE have given a final release date for roguelike deckbuilding RPG C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield , which was announced last year. The game will be releasing on May 23, 2024.

Developer ACQUIRE have announced that Ancient Weapon Holly, a new roguelike dungeon-crawler, will be launching on Switch later this year. You’ll be able to pick up the title via the eShop on March 8, 2024. The game will see you taking on the role of the titular Holly, a humanoid weapon sealed away within a labyrinth due to their destructive potential who is now free and intent on fulfilling that potential out of revenge.

Hookah Haze

Publisher Aniplex and developer Acquire are bringing Hookah Haze to Switch, it’s been announced. It’s currently on track to launch in 2024.

Hookah Haze is a visual novel in which Toru Sumiki lands a job managing Hookah Haze, a new hookah lounge on the outskirts of Akihabara, and meets three eccentric girls who gradually open up to him. Additional information can be found in the following overview:

Class of Heroes 1 & 2 Complete Edition English west

Class of Heroes 1 & 2: Complete Edition is getting a worldwide release on Switch, PQube and Acquire revealed today. A release is scheduled for early 2024.

Both of these games originally released on PSP. Acquire then brought them to Switch as remasters, but only in Japan. PQube is now localizing the two titles and shipping them in a single package.

Acquire has announced via Weekly Famitsu that C.A.R.D.S. RPG: The Misty Battlefield will be making its way to Switch. The roguelike deckbuilding RPG will release on the system in 2024.

Not much is known about the game as of yet, but Acquire has confirmed that it will follow the adventures of a valorous band of warriors named the Clausewitz Mercenaries. Players can look forward to a card-based battle system, stages shrouded in mist, and roguelike elements that promote the use of different strategies as players progress through the game.

Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2 DLC

A ton of games launched on the Switch eShop yesterday, but one new title you might not be aware of is Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2. Though it was previously announced for the console, it turns out you can buy it right now.

Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2 is the first self-published release from Acquire – the company behind Tenchu, Way of the Samurai, Akiba’s Trip, and Octopath Traveler. We shared the news originally, but here’s some information about the game:

Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2

Aquire today announced Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2, a new twin-stick shooter for Switch. The game is on track to launch later in 2023.

Xaladia: Rise of the Space Pirates X2 is notable as it’s the first self-published release from Acquire. The company previously worked on the Octopath Traveler series, Tenchu, Way of the Samurai, and Akiba’s Trip.

3D dungeon crawler Labyrinth of Zangetsu launched last week on Switch, and now the first twenty five minutes of the game are available for viewing for those interested in checking out what Acquire’s latest title has to offer.

Labyrinth of Zangetsu release date

Publisher PQube and developer Acquire have set a release date for the western version of Labyrinth of Zangetsu, with the game due out in just a few days. It’ll launch in both North America and Europe on April 20, 2023.

Labyrinth of Zangetsu has been available in Japan since September. PQube announced localization plans last summer with a launch target of Q1 2023.
