Away: Journey to the Unexpected

Limited Run Games has announced the latest addition to its series of physical releases for Switch. The company intends to offer a boxed copy of the previously eShop-exclusive Away: Journey to the Unexpected.

Pre-orders open on December 31 exclusively through Limited Run Games. Copies will be up for grabs over a 30-day period.

Away: Journey to the Unexpected is wrapping up development, and a release date has been announced. During the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, it was revealed that it’ll be out on February 7 via the eShop.

During a Gamescom live stream at the Arena Indie Booth, Away: Journey to the Unexpected’s newest build was shown off with a bunch of footage. Continue on below for the recording.

If you’re planning on attending Gamescom next week, you’ll be happy to hear that Away: Journey to the Unexpected will be playable. Even better, a demo will be available on Switch.

Other upcoming games will also be playable on Switch for the first time at Gamescom. These include Monster Boy, Nine Parchments, and Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
