Borderlands 4 just issued its latest trailer focusing on the game’s story. Fans can get immersed in the high-stakes world of Kairos as its denizens break free from the tyranny of the Timekeeper, a ruthless dictator who leads The Order – an army of synthetic soldiers. The video debuted during the Borderlands 4 Fan Fest today.

In light of this, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford shared some thoughts on the topic via X (formerly Twitter), especially in relation to Borderlands 4, which has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2.

When asked by a fan whether Borderlands 4 would be priced at $80, Pitchford responded by saying, “If you’re a real fan, you’ll find a way to make it happen.” He added that the final price point is ultimately not his decision, and that it’s likely up to publisher Take-Two Interactive.

Gamers anticipating the release of Borderlands 4 might be interested to hear that an official art book is on the way. Retailer listings are now starting to appear, which indicate that it’s planned for September 30, 2025.

Dark Horse is behind the new book, which will have over 200 pages to comb through. Aside from a collection of art, the book features commentary chronicling the development of Borderlands 4.
