Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is coming out strong. It did appear last week following pre-loads, but has now skyrocketed to #1 with its proper launch.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of February 2025 specifically on Nintendo Switch.

A couple of games appear for the first time. Civilization 7 lands at #3 while Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is right behind at #4. The overall top seller is Mario Kart 8, despite arriving just a month after the console released many years ago.

Civilization VII

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of February 2025.

Looking at Nintendo Switch games, the one to appear the highest is Civilization 7 at #3, which is for all platforms combined. Worth noting, Nintendo itself doesn’t actually have any games here. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD previously appeared in January, but has now fallen off entirely.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending March 15, 2025 is now available.

EA Sports FC 25 is the highest-charting Nintendo Switch game at #3. Interestingly, Nintendo’s console is holding its own here. Switch and PS5 sold 37 percent copies each with PS4 at 20 percent and Xbox Series at 6 percent.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the Nintendo Switch exclusive putting in the most work here, as usual. However, a number of other first-party games are sprinkled throughout.

Thanks to the MAR10 Day sale, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is boosted to the top spot. Also, with Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition pre-loads starting ahead of next week’s launch, that one makes it into the top ten.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending March 8, 2025 is now available.

This time around, Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster appears for the first time, landing at #4. Nintendo Switch accounted for 43 percent of the game’s sales, compared to 51 percent on PS5 and 6 percent on Xbox Series. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which has been the top Nintendo Switch game recently, comes in at #5.
