Chibig has come out with a launch trailer for Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara. This week, the 3D puzzle platformer released on Switch.

3D puzzle platformer Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara has received a release date on Switch, following a delay last year. The game is now due to launch July 27 on Switch, with physical versions available for preorder now from Tepura Games’ website.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara delayed

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara has been delayed, publisher Chibig announced today along with developers Talpa Games and Undercoders. It’s now planned for a 2023 debut on Switch.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara was announced for Switch at the start of 2022. Originally, the goal was to have it out sometime this past summer.

Mika and the Witch's Mountain delayed

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain has been delayed and will not be making it out this year as originally planned. Instead, the project has been pushed to 2023. It’s still planned for Switch upon release.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain will be appearing on Kickstarter in early 2023. The campaign will help with polish as well as “meet the expectations of the gaming community.”

Chibig has shared a launch trailer for Ankora: Lost Days, which is out now on Switch. This is a survival game set before the events of Deiland: Pocket Planet and Summer in Mara.

Ankora: Lost Days release date

Chibig has announced a final release date for the Switch version of Ankora: Lost Days. According to the company, it will be available on September 15, 2022.

Ankora: Lost Days is described as a “cute-as-heck survival adventure” that involves terraforming, crafting, and exploration mechanics. More information can be found below.

Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition physical

Deiland: Pocket Planet Edition never saw a physical release, but that’ll be changing pretty soon.

Chibig originally brought the game to Switch in April 2021, though it was only made available digitally on the Switch eShop. However, it’s now gearing up for its Japanese launch, and it turns out that a physical version will be happening. That’s thanks to Pikii, a company that’s in charge of the game in Japan.

Koa and the Five Pirates

Chibig has a new 3D puzzle-platformer planned for Switch, as the developer today unveiled Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara. A release is set for this summer.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara takes place in the world of Summer in Mara, which previously came to Switch. In the game, Koa and her friend Napopo go on a journey to recover the islander’s treasure that’s been stolen by pirates. Players will be “traversing wild islands, dodging cunning traps, and defeating the knarrrrrliest pirate bosses in a loving tribute to the platforming adventures of old.”
