Night in the Woods publisher Finji has confirmed a couple of extra tidbits about Night in the Woods on Switch. The game will include the Weird Autumn content as well as the solstice content.

The news comes directly from Finji’s Twitter page:

Night in the Woods’ Weird Autumn content has been described like a director’s cut. It added new dialogue and activities, the Longest Night and Lost Constellation side stories, and more.

Switch will be getting Night in the Woods on February 1.

Thanks to James M for the tip.

Update: We’ve heard from Finji that the release date on the eShop is wrong, which was apparently the company’s fault. Night in the Woods will now release slightly later than expected on February 1.

Original: A few months ago, it was strongly suggested that the acclaimed adventure game Night in the Woods would eventually arrive on Switch. We now have confirmation that it’s happening.

A listing on the eShop shows that Night in the Woods is coming to Switch – and apparently very soon. Finji will apparently publish the game on January 18 for $19.99.

Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition was announced today. It’s an expanded version of the highly-regarded game with a bunch of new content.

Here’s the thing: Night in the Woods: Weird Autumn Edition was confirmed for almost every major platform. Switch wasn’t included, but there could be a reason for that. The official Twitter account teased that we should “stay tuned for news on another console, which I am unable to mention for reasons, but you know what console I’m talking about.” One would have to assume that Switch is being referenced here.
