A massive update is inbound for Digital Cybercherries’ Switch shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed, which will put the game at version 0.1.2341.233. It contains a ton of free content, fixes, and improvements based on player feedback. Among the highlights include new enemies, weapons, maps, attachments, updated plague mode, vastly improved player movement, and performance/balance improvements.

A major update went out this week for the Switch shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed. There are some significant additions here, including player bots and third-person camera controls. That’s on top of improved map balance for single-player plus many other improvements and changes.

Hypercharge: Unboxed

Hypercharge: Unboxed a cooperative first-person shooter, landed on the Switch eShop at the start of 2020. But rather than just releasing the game and calling it a day, developer Digital Cybercherries is committed to adding more content, features, and more. We previously shared the roadmap here.

Unfortunately, like many things this year, development of the roadmap is behind schedule due to the coronavirus. Digital Cybercherries recently provided a status update, stating that the team is “working hard to play catch up”.

In a recent blog post, Digital Cybercherries outlined what it has in store for Hypercharge: Unboxed, its cooperative first-person shooter. The team is adding a new Survival mode, bots for PvP and single-player, and more.

Digital Cybercherries is supporting Hypercharge: Unboxed with new content, including the upcoming Playground map. See what the level has to offer in the video below.

Hypercharge: Unboxed is out now on Switch. A date for the Playground map has not yet been announced.

Digital Cybercherries recently issued a new update for Hypercharge: Unboxed. It fixed Buildmode skipping (now a majority rule to skip) and added support for French, Spanish, and German language options.

Hypercharge: Unboxed has a bunch of content upcoming in the future such as new modes and maps. However, due to the coronavirus, Digital Cybercherries says its roadmap “is months behind schedule.” The studio hopes “things will resume to normal soon.”

Digital Cybercherries is gearing up for the first major Hypercharge: Unboxed update. The Switch shooter is receiving the patch on March 23.

There’s lots of new content and features planned as part of the update. Players can look forward to online and local multiplayer, new characters, dioramas and stats, and hidden bobble heads.
