Another Game Trial has been announced for Nintendo Switch Online in Europe, and this time around, Iconoclasts is taking the spotlight.

During the event, the entire experience can be accessed at no extra cost. All progress can be transferred to the full version if you choose to purchase it. The event starts now, January 15, and runs through to January 21.

Pre-orders are now open for the physical version of Iconoclasts. Along with a standard release, Limited Run Games is offering a “Classic Edition”.

Originally, Iconoclasts was offered as a digital download on Switch. It launched back in August for $19.99.

Iconoclasts is just a week away from joining the Switch eShop. Dangen Entertainment, the game’s Japanese publisher, revealed today that a release is planned for August 2. That news should apply to the west as well, though we’ll let you know if anything changes.

Iconoclasts features expanded difficulty options and a boss rush mode on Switch. This includes “a difficulty that lets you get past harder challenges without dying,” according to developer Joakim Sandberg.

Iconoclasts is officially coming to Switch, developer Joakim Sandberg has confirmed. MP2 Games is handling the port.

On Switch, Iconoclasts will include expanded difficulty options and a boss rush mode. At any point, you’ll be able to change the difficulty. The game will also feature “a difficulty that lets you get past harder challenges without dying,” Sandberg says.

Iconoclasts is a game that took nearly a decade to develop. Konjak started working on the project way back in 2010, and finally saw its initial release on January 23.

Currently, Iconoclasts isn’t available on Nintendo platforms. But that could change in the future. Creator Joakim Sandberg recently told GamerHubTV:
