Crypt Custodian gameplay

For those interested in seeing how Crypt Custodian turned out, we’ve got new gameplay. A half hour of footage is available for the action adventure/Metroidvania title.

The eShop description provides us with the following details:

Crypt Custodian just secured a release date on Switch. The game launches on August 27, 2024 as an eShop download.

We only just heard that Crypt Custodian would be coming to Switch in June. The Zelda-like / Metroidvania game was given a general summer release window.

Crypt Custodian

Crypt Custodian will be appearing on Switch, publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Kyle Thompson announced today. Fans can pick it up this summer.

Crypt Custodian is a Zelda-like meets Metroidvania about cleaning up the afterlife. You’ll take on the role of Pluto, a mischievous cat who has died, and is sentenced to be the afterworld’s janitor.

Islets physical

Islets previously came out on the Switch eShop, but a physical version is now in the works thanks to Super Rare ames.

4,000 copies will be made in total. Each unit contains all current content on its cart at the time of printing, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Armor Game Studios published Islets on Switch last week, and those that would like to get a closer look can view a new batch of gameplay. 23 minutes of footage has come in.

Islets is a Metroidvania title filled with action adventure gameplay. You’ll take on the role if Iko, a “a brave mouse with ambitions of setting out to explore a sky filled with scattered floating islands and communities isolated from one another after the land was fractured by a mysterious incident many years ago.”
