Little Nightmares III

Little Nightmares 3 release date

The release date for Little Nightmares 3 was just announced, and fans can rest easy knowing that it’s coming before Halloween. Bandai Namco will be publishing it on October 10, 2025. News about the release date for Little Nightmares 3 just dropped during the Little Nightmares Showcase where a Nintendo Switch 2 version was also confirmed.

It’s been a longer-than-expected wait for Little Nightmares 3. Originally announced in August 2023, the project was planned to launch the following year. However, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games ended up pushing things back to 2025 instead.

Here’s an overview of pricing plus details on the Deluxe Edition:

Little Nightmares Showcase

We’re soon set to get an update on the Little Nightmares series, as a new showcase has been announced for June 24. The event begins at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe. We’ll add in the live stream link here once it’s available.

Thus far Bandai Namco is keeping quiet on the details. However, fans can expect to hear about the latest news for the series.

Little Nightmares III delayed

May 31: Little Nightmares III has been delayed, and will not be making it out this year as originally planned. Bandai Namco now intends to publish the title in 2025.

Little Nightmares III was first unveiled at Gamescom last August. It’s a notable shift for the series as the first two titles were made by Tarsier Studios. This one is being handled by Until Dawn developer and The Dark Pictures Anthology Supermassive Games.

Little Nightmares III

Original (8/22): Bandai Namco has announced Little Nightmares III and we have confirmation it’ll be on Switch. News about the project just dropped during Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2023.

Thus far, Bandai Namco has confirmed that online co-op will be included thanks to the ability to control two characters. Of course, you can play alone as well.

It’s been confirmed that Little Nightmares III won’t include couch co-op, and Supermassive’s game director Wayne Garland has now weighed in on the decision.

For the first time in the series, co-op will be supported. However, much to the disappointment of fans, the feature is limited to online. If you’d rather play with a friend locally, you’ll unfortunately be out of luck.
