There’s a kind of magic that only summer can hold – long days, the hum of cicadas, and for me, the unmistakable excitement of borrowing a PlayStation game from a new RPG-obsessed friend I’d met at summer day camp (shout out to Nik from the YMCA Day Camp program, you were legit.) I was twelve, sunburned, full of cheap cookies, sugary artificially flavored red drink, and a sense of adventure. The game was Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. I didn’t know it then, but that disc would become one of the most formative RPG experiences of my awkward little middle school life.

April 5: A new Lunar Remastered Collection trailer has dropped focusing on the story. There’s a good chunk of animated cutscenes here, but we do get to see some new footage as well.

GungHo Online Entertainment just set a release date for Lunar Remastered Collection. The package is confirmed to launch for Nintendo Switch on April 18, 2025.
GungHo previously announced Lunar Remastered Collection last year. We initially had a Spring 2025 launch window.

GungHo is bringing Lunar Remastered Collection to Switch, the company just announced. It will be available in Spring 2025.
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete – which both debuted on the SEGA CD roughly three decades ago – are both included in the package. The two titles feature updated graphics, sound, and new quality-of-life improvements.
