Majesco and indie label Midnight City facing serious trouble

Majesco and its indie label Midnight City are facing serious trouble, a new Gamasutra report suggests.
The site makes note of the following excerpts from a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission:
“the reduction (in workforce) includes development and game-testing, selling and marketing, and support personnel. We are currently not developing any significant new games for release in fiscal 2015.”
“we have suffered losses that raise substantial doubt about our ability to continue as a going concern. Accordingly, we are evaluating various alternatives, including reducing operating expenses and personnel costs, securing additional financing for future business activities, and other strategic alternatives including a sale or merger of our company.”
Gamasutra goes on to mention that Majesco’s indie publishing label, Midnight City, is facing trouble as well. Midnight City published Costume Quest 2 and is bringing Gone Home to Wii U.
Slender: The Arrival coming to Wii U

Blue Isle Studios’ survivor horror title “Slender: The Arrival” is coming to Wii U, a listing from PEGI reveals. Majesco will be responsible for publishing.
Slender: The Arrival originally released for PC and OS X in 2013. Last month, the game made its way to consoles as a digital release. That means Slender: The Arrival’s Wii U version will likely be distributed through the eShop.

Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! will launch in North America on September 15, Majesco has announced.
As a refresher, here’s a quick overview of the game:

Unlock 60 recipes to perfect a kaleidoscope of foods including appetizers, drinks, main courses and desserts. Cook your way through classic fare, exotic cultural dishes and sweet treats including: chicken nuggets, barbeque skewers, raisin bread, Hawaiian pancakes, gingerbread cookies and much more. Step out of the kitchen and help Mama with more than 30 new activities around the Burger Shop and house: feed the pets, deliver orders, serve ice cream, organize crafts, even play word games!
Cooking Mama 5: Bon Appétit! features intuitive stylus-based play across six modes, including the new Cooking Dojo mode where Mama slips into her gi for some serious culinary training. What’s more, single cart download play with up to three friends enables you to cook off with fellow chefs to share the experience.
