The Last Worker release date

Today, publisher Wired Productions and developers Wolf & Wood and Oiffy announced a final release date for The Last Worker. The game is confirmed to launch on March 30, 2023.

The Last Worker was first announced in March 2021 and was planned for the following year. It was quietly delayed and most recently had a vague 2023 launch window.

The Last Worker physical

Wired Productions has confirmed that it’s planning a physical version for The Last Worker on Switch, which will be known as the Jüngle Pronto edition.

Along with the game on a cartridge, buyers will receive a couple of extra goodies. It comes with a reversible sleeve, Jüngle stickers and a double-sided poster. 

The Last Worker Zelda Williams and Tommie Earl Jenkins

Publisher Wired Productions, writer / director Jörg Tittel, and developer Wolf & Wood today announced more cast members for The Last Worker, with Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) and Tommie Earl Jenkins (Death Stranding) now confirmed for the narrative adventure. They join Jason Isaacs (The Death of Stalin), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Deep), Clare-Hope Ashitey (Children of Men), and David Hewlett (The Shape of Water).

For those that missed our previous coverage, The Last Worker is a first-person narrative adventure that focuses on “our struggle in an increasingly automated world.” It offers a hand-crafted art style that “delivers an emotional, thought provoking and comedic story packaged with rich characters performed by an all-star cast.”

Wired Productions, Wolf & Wood, and Oiffy have debuted a new “Jungle Fulfillment Centre Tour” trailer for The Last Worker – courtesy of IGN. 

The first-person narrative adventure game was announced for Switch last May. We haven’t heard much about the project since then, but today’s video provides a brand new look.
