Onimusha: Warlords

Onimusha: Warlords was announced for Switch earlier this week. But sadly, as we quickly found out, there won’t be a physical version in either North America or Europe. In Japan, however, Capcom is going all out.

Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the physical version of Onimusha: Warlords here, including a couple of limited editions. English should be supported given how Capcom treated Okami HD’s physical release in Japan. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to provide an update on the site.

Capcom announced Onimusha: Warlords for Switch earlier today. More than a decade after its release on the PlayStation 2, the title is finally seeing a return on new platforms.

The one downside is that Capcom isn’t offering a physical version of Onimusha: Warlords on Switch in the west. It’s especially disappointing since that isn’t the case on other platforms.

Capcom released a new set of screenshots from the just announced release of Onimusha: Warlords on Switch. View the images below.

Onimusha: Warlords

Capcom is developing Onimusha: Warlords, the company has announced. A release is planned on Switch.

The Onimusha series first started in 2001, which Warlords is based on. The last mainline entry was 2006’s Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams on PlayStation 2.
