Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are now starting distribution of a brand new version 4.0.0 update. If you own either game, you should be able to download it.

This is the first patch for the game in over a year. With Nintendo Switch 2 on the way and improvements promised, this is what version 4.0.0 is all about. Game Freak has improved the visuals including resolution as well as the frame rate.

A brief trailer has come in for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet showing the game running on Nintendo Switch 2. This comes from a post on the Nintendo Today app.

When the new system comes out this week, players will be able to download a free patch. This makes a number of technical improvements, including a bump up to 60 frames per second. Additionally, the games have been optimized for the display on the system’s screen and high-resolution TVs – meaning improved visual quality.

The 7 Star Metagross Tera Raid Battle event for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is now live, and we’ve got a guide full of potential team setups. As a way of celebrating the Pokemon Asia Master Ball League championships, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can partake in a new distribution to obtain Rillaboom.

This Rillaboom was used by Wei Chyrto to win the previous event. The creature has the moves Grassy Glide, Wood Hammer, U-Turn, and High Horsepower. Its Tera Type is Grass and is holding the Choice Band item.
