Redout 2 update adds new tracks and more

Redout 2 just shipped its latest update, which includes some new content and more.
The main notable addition is three new tracks for the V.E.R.T.E.X. environment. Elsewhere, some other additions are included plus adjustments and plenty of fixes.

Redout 2 gains Winter Pack DLC, free update on Switch

Redout 2 players on Switch have new content to access today thanks to the Winter Pack DLC as well as a free update.
The new DLC features the Terror Rupes environment with three new racetracks plus a new boss track, all of which are reversible. Also included are 28 brand new career events plus 29 new liveries, colors, and cosmetic pieces.

Redout 2 getting a physical release on Switch

According to various retailer listings, Redout 2 is receiving a physical release on Switch.
Copies at retail will be offered as a “Deluxe Edition”. Along with the base game, players will gain access to the season pass. The season pass includes two future DLC packs with new locations, career events, rewards, and more.

Redout 2 receives Summer Pack DLC on Switch, new update

Redout 2 players on Switch have access to new DLC today in the form of the Summer Pack. This can be purchased individually for $9.99 or as part of the season pass for $17.99.
The new DLC is highlighted by Caribbean Dam as a new environment. Players will find four new reversible racetracks, 30 new cosmetics, and giant robotic crabs. More information can be found below.

Redout 2 delayed to July

Original (5/20): Redout 2 has been delayed, but thankfully the wait won’t be terribly long.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the game would be launching on May 26. However, 34BigThings has pushed the game back to June 16, 2022.

Publisher Saber Interactive and developer 34BigThings have nailed down a final release date for Redout 2, their anti-gravity racing game sequel. Fans can get their hands on the title starting May 26, 2022.
Redout 2 was announced for Switch back in December. At the time, the game had a vague 2022 release window.

Today, publisher Saber Interactive and developer 34BigThings issued a new gameplay overview trailer for Redout 2. It provides a new look at the newest addition to the anti-gravity (AG) racing franchise which was first announced at the end of last year.

Redout 2 announced, coming to Switch

In partnership with Saber Interactive, 34BigThings today unveiled a sequel to its racer Redout, aptly named Redout 2. The game will arrive on Switch sometime in 2022.
Redout 2 is another arcade-esque experience “where racing through the dystopian wastelands of a semi-abandoned Earth is one of the galaxy’s most popular sports.” It’ll feature both a single-player campaign as well as competitive multiplayer. That’s on top of “deep control systems, robust hovership customization, and a killer soundtrack”.
