RetroMania Wrestling

RetroMania Wrestling was originally planned as a February release on all supported platforms. While everything is going as planned with the Steam version, Switch owners will probably need to wait a bit longer.

Retrosoft Studios provided an update on release plans yesterday, stating that the team hasn’t finished the certification process. That means consoles – including Switch – probably won’t be arriving this week as originally expected. Retrosoft does not anticipate the delay being any longer than two weeks.

RetroMania Wrestling has secured a final release date. The game will launch on February 26, 2021, Retrosoft Studios announced today.

RetroMania Wrestling will initially be sold as a digital-only release. However, it’s confirmed that Limited Run Games will be producing a physical version at a later date.

Here’s a new trailer and developer update from Retrosoft Studios:

RetroMania Wrestling

Retrosoft Studios was originally targeting a July launch for RetroMania Wrestling. However, because of a recent delay, the game’s launch has moved.

The developer said in an email to customers that the delay came about due to the coronavirus pandemic and needing extra time for polish. A new release window was not provided.

Retrosoft mentioned that a new date will be provided when the final build is sent to Nintendo. When that happens, the team will be 3-5 weeks away from launch depending on the approval process.
