Original (3/31): XSEED Games today revealed the special Golden Memories Edition for Rune Factory 3 Special.
All copies include a custom outer box featuring an original illustration based on the game’s anime opening, the game card and case, an acrylic standee featuring protagonists from Rune Factory 3 Special, Rune Factory 4 Special, and Rune Factory 5 measuring 6” wide and 4” tall, an original soundtrack CD, a custom 5” by 8” planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real world calendar, and an exclusive “Swimsuit Mode” DLC allowing for characters to appear in their swimsuits year-round. The whole package costs $79.99. Most major retailers should be carrying the Rune Factory 3 Special Golden Memories Edition.

XSEED Games and Marvelous have nailed down a release date for the English version of Rune Factory 3 Special in the west. In both North America and Europe, the RPG / life sim arrives on September 5, 2023.
Rune Factory 3 Special just came out last week in Japan. It’s a redone version of the DS original with HD visuals and some new features.

Rune Factory 3 Special out March 2023 in Japan

We seem to know when Rune Factory 3 Special will launch on Switch – at least in Japan. Thanks to retailer listings, it’s confirmed that the game will launch on March 2, 2023.
In Japan, Marvelous will offer a “Dream Collection” special edition for 10,780 yen. It includes a copy of the game, special box featuring an illustration by Minako Iwasaki, “all-star” drama CD featuring a “mass gathering” of protagonists, “classified private CD,” memorial diorama acrylic stand, and download code for the additional content “Everyone Wears Swimsuits Mode.”
Rune Factory 3 Special was previously announced during the last Nintendo Direct in September. We know it’s on track for 2023 in North America and Europe, but a specific date hasn’t been provided.
