Suika Game getting physical release on Switch in Japan, worldwide pre-orders open

The hit Switch game Suika Game is getting a physical release in Japan, it’s been announced. It will be sold as part of a new “Special Edition”.
Suika Game will be offered on a cartridge for the first time. All previous DLC will be included, and there’ll be some exclusive items as well.

Suika Game releases summer skin set DLC

The fun isn’t over with Suika Game, and new summer skin set DLC was just made available for the game.
The Fireworks Display, Summer Holiday, Sunset Beach, and Sunflower Farm skins are all included here. With the last three, you’ll get eight interchangeable fruit parts, new designs for Poppy and boxes, and a new skin. The Fireworks Display features 14 interchangeable fruit parts, new designs for Poppy and boxes, animated fireworks display background skin, special game start screen, animated fireworks effect where fireworks burst in the night sky every time fruits are merged, and a special background music inspired by summer festivals and unique sound effects that play whenever fruits are merged.

Suika Game getting online multiplayer support this week

Online multiplayer support for Suika Game now has a release date. According to an eShop listing, it’ll be ready to go on May 23, 2024.
Suika Game previously released its Main Game & Multi-Player Mode DLC following a Nintendo Direct earlier in the year. Players could access new local multiplayer modes in that pack, but online multiplayer support was promised for a later date. Now that feature is just a couple of days away.

Suika Game reveals Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC, online coming

The surprise hit Suika Game isn’t finished just yet as new Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC has been announced. It launches Switch today.
The DLC adds local two-player battles to the mix, with online multiplayer arriving in the future. You can “enjoy the fruits of your labor in the Original mode along with the new Time Limit and Attack modes.”
The Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC is live on the Switch eShop. A bundle is also available featuring the game and its Multi-Player Mode Expansion DLC.

Suika Game Christmas theme released, sales top five million

As a special treat for Christmas, Suika Game has been updated with a new holiday theme.
The theme will only be available for a limited time. To access it, update the game and use the L/R buttons on the title screen. Christmas music is included.

Suika Game is the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

December 5: Nintendo of Europe has announced via X that the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial for the region will be Suika, with distribution starting from December 7 and concluding on December 11.

Original (10/20): Suika Game, which has made waves in Japan on the Switch eShop this year, is now available on Switch worldwide – just without English support.
At first glance, this seems like something that’d easily pass by without much attention. And actually, that’s what happened with Suika Game when it first came to Switch at the end of 2021 in Japan. But after streamers and influences started spreading the word this year, it became a hit. As we previously reported, Suika Game was the best-selling game on the Japanese eShop in September.
