Super Mario Galaxy 2

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2

Nintendo has revealed the price for the just-announced Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, and it turns out it’ll be quite a bit of cash. Fans will need to dole out $70 for the collection.

This is a bit surprising given what we saw with Super Mario 3D All-Stars. That package launched at $60, and included three games. You can argue that we’re now getting two Wii games instead of one, but it’s a tough sell.

Super Mario Galaxy can be purchased and downloaded straight onto a Wii U console via its internal memory or external hard drive. For some unknown reason, a small amount of those who opt for the latter option are experiencing issues with the game. Users on Nintendo’s tech support forums have reported problems with a black screen and crashing.

I can’t say why an external hard drive would cause such issues. On the bright side, downloading Galaxy 2 internally works perfectly.
