Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

SEGA has shared a new gameplay trailer for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, which was officially announced for Switch earlier this week. View it below.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania arrives for Switch on October 5.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

SEGA is revisiting the classic roots of the Super Monkey Ball with Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania. The Switch release is remastering content from Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.

In the initial trailer for Banana Mania, fans noticed that a new jump ability was shown off – something that wasn’t included in the original titles. That caused some concern for longtime players. Fortunately, it’s not something that you’ll be forced to used.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Sonic and Tails

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will apparently feature a pair of guest stars from another Sonic franchise. New character art has been discovered within the game’s official website, revealing that Sonic and Tails (from Sonic the Hedgehog, of course!) will be included.

Sonic did previously appear in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, so this news doesn’t come as a major surprise. However, we should note that SEGA hasn’t made an official announcement – the news was likely uncovered early.

Look for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania when it hits Switch on October 5.
