Superhot Team

Superhot is out now on Switch as a digital download from the eShop. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

Superhot is officially coming to Switch, developer Superhot Team revealed during today’s Indie World Showcase presentation. Nintendo itself inadvertently leaked the news a couple of days ago after update data was spotted for the game on its servers.

We have the following overview and trailer for Superhot:

Superhot appears to be making its way to Switch. Update data has been found on Nintendo’s servers, despite the fact that it’s not actually out yet – specifically version 1.0.1.

As shared by Twitter user itssimontime:

Last year, when asked about the possibility of Superhot on Switch, Andrzej Dominowski seemed open to the idea. Dominowski mentioned at the time that it was under consideration.

Though we haven’t heard anything since, it appears that things are moving forward. Superhot director Piotr Iwanicki told Destructoid, “There are plans. It should be there,” Iwanicki said.

The first-person shooter SUPERHOT is being considered for Switch. That’s according to developer Andrzej Dominowski, who was asked about the possibility during a Reddit AMA today.

SUPERHOT is a unique take on the first-person shooter genre. Time moves only when you move, the game ditches regenerating health bars, and will have you moving through slow-motion bullets.

The concept of SUPERHOT may sound slightly strange if you’ve never heard of it before, but it definitely works. You can get a feel for the gameplay with the video below.
