Curve Digital and Size Five Games have readied a new patch for The Swindle on Switch. A number of issues have been addressed, including:

– Enemy AI/line of sight
– Corrected lighting bloom
– Weapon and tool tweaks
– Selection of minor bug fixes

The Swindle is out now on Switch via the eShop.

After previously appearing on Wii U, The Swindle joins the Switch eShop today. Get a look at the launch trailer in the video below.

Previously released on Wii U, The Swindle is now making its way to Switch. Curve Digital announced today that the “steampunk cybercrime caper” will be appearing on the eShop starting next month.

Below is an overview for the game, along with a trailer:

Wii U owners who have purchased The Swindle should now be able to download the update. As noted by Curve Digital on Twitter, this patch brings the game in line with the Steam version.


Here’s an overview of the new patch:

– Improved overall stability
– Improved overall gameplay controls
– Fixed issues with killing a TeslaBot
– Fixed Teleportation issues
– Fixed issues with Hacking
– Fixed issues with user interface
– In game economy has now been re-balanced
– Made improvements to procedurally generated maps
– Made changes to Basilisk security

The Swindle, which is due out later this week in North America and Europe, now has its reported file size. You’ll need just under 700MB for the download. When The Swindle launches on Thursday, it will be available via the eShop.

We already knew that The Swindle would be releasing on the European Wii U eShop this week, but now we know that the North American launch is scheduled for the same time. Curve Digital is bringing the game to all territories this Thursday.

Here’s the official launch trailer:

Curve Digital will be bringing The Swindle to the European Wii U eShop on September 10, according to a listing on Nintendo’s UK website. Note that the company has not technically announced this date. When Curve officially announces the news, we’ll probably be hearing about when it’s coming to North America as well (perhaps the same day).
