Toy Pop is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has announced that Toy Pop is the next Arcade Archives game coming to Switch. Here is some more information on the title.
Toy Pop is an action game first released by Namco in 1986. The game is a top-down shooter that can be played with either one or two players, with the goal being to travel through all of the game’s levels (called boxes) to save the toy country. In order to beat a level, players have to collect all of the hidden hearts on that floor, with players also being able to open gifts that contain various score-increasing items and weapons, which come in handy when dealing with all of a floor’s enemies.
Arcade Archives Toy Pop will release digitally on Switch tomorrow, October 13. It will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
