Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for March 2024.
There’s not a whole lot of excitement this month with EA Sports FC 24 the highest charting Switch game at #2. Princess Peach: Showtime comes in at #30, but it released late and the month. Command & Conquer also saw a 17-title bundle which impacted the chart this month a bit.
As far as hardware goes, Switch sales are actually up 20 percent month-on-month. However, its sales are down 20 percent year-on-year. Switch was the second best-selling console of the month, behind the PS5.
Another small tidbit concerns accessories. The new pink Joy-Con come in at #52 on the gaming accessories chart.
