Fire Emblem Fates – Nintendo kicks off second round of DLC in Japan

In Japan, Nintendo has started offering a second wave of downloadable content for Fire Emblem Fates. The company has remade “the very best” maps in the series.
Players can purchase all DLC maps from the second wave in the “Special Value DLC 4-Pack” for 900 yen. Maps can also be purchased individually for 250 yen each (though one is free).

DLC Second Wave: Now Downloadable
From the countless maps featured in the Fire Emblem series up until now, we chose to remake the very best.
You can purchase all DLC maps in the Second Wave in the “Special Value DLC 4-Pack” for 900 yen (tax inclusive). (Since the total price for the four DLC maps if purchased individually is 1000 yen (tax inclusive), you save the extravagant amount of 100 yen.)
- DLC: The Vanguard’s Training Grounds
- Reward: Vanguard’s Emblem (Can be obtained multiple times)
From “Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.” This map utilises the map found in “Elincia’s Gambit” (RD Part 2 Endgame) as training grounds. Can you protect the castle from the enemy troops’ relentless assault?
(Image) Anna: This is a battle to guard against the enemy onslaught and protect your base to the end.
- DLC: Anna the Robber
- Reward: Anna is recruited (Only obtained upon initial clearing of map)
From “Fire Emblem: Awakening,” a modified version of the map used in “Anna the Merchant” (Paralogue 2). Just what will be the fate of Anna, cornered by bandits…?

- DLC: Gunner Training Grounds
- Reward: Ballistician Fort (Can be obtained multiple times)
From “Fire Emblem: Dark Dragon and the Sword of Light.” Training grounds that utilise the map from “The Wooden Cavalry” (Chapter 13). Can you cut through the ranks of the ballisticians as they fire upon you with their extended range?
(Image) Anna: You’ve no choice but to attack the ballisticians, ferocious enemies from the Outrealms.

- DLC: A Present from Anna
- (Note: This map can be obtained free of charge.)
- Reward: Ballistician Fort or Witch’s Pentacle (Once only)
A free map in which you can obtain one of two special items: either the reward “Ballistician Fort” (from the DLC map “Gunner Training Grounds”) or the reward “Witch’s Pentacle” (from the DLC Map “Witch’s Training Grounds”). You can obtain an item only once, free of charge. After downloading, please proceed to the Outrealm Gate, select “Play DLC Contents” and select “A Present from Anna.”

- Reward: Witch’s Pentacle (Can be obtained multiple times)
From “Fire Emblem: Gaiden.” A map that utilizes the map found in Fear Mountain, from Gaiden’s Chapter 4 (Alm’s route), as training grounds. Can you proceed onwards, undaunted in spite of the enemy witches, who warp instantaneously across long distances to launch their attacks?
