Tecmo Koei has opened a teaser site for Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd. It’s mostly absent of content aside from a flashy animation. Over the next few months, however, it’ll be filled to the brim with screenshots, videos, and other media.
You can keep tabs on the site here.
Atlus announcing new title at London MCM Expo

Atlus has a game announcement to make at the London MCM expo, it seems. A schedule of the expo shows that the company will be delivering some sort of news on May 26 – that’s this Saturday.
It’s tough to say what the announcement will be about. I feel like it has to be related to Europe though. After all, the expo is being held in London. If Atlus were to have a brand new title/localization to unveil, they’d probably save it for E3 at this point.

The Japanese Club Nintendo website has received two new rewards in the form of notebooks. One contains a Mario-centric theme while the other sports Princess Peach elements.
The two items are A5 (21x15cm) ring notebooks. Each is made up with 44 pages – 88 in total if you count both sides.
Members can purchase a notebook for 150 Club Nintendo points. Nintendo will ship out the prizes two weeks after the order date.

Konami almost certainly teasing new Castlevania game with new teaser
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments

Konami has opened a new teaser site for something labeled “The Dragon Returns”. This is almost certainly a new Castlevania game.
It’s likely a sequel to Lords of Shadow, as the source code contains the words “CLOS Teaser Page”.

Expect a reveal during Konami’s pre-E3 show, which should be taking place late next week. News about Castlevania: Mirrors of Fate should be appearing as well.

LucasArts is primed to share a title reveal at E3 2012 next month. The company is sending out invitations which mention an “unannounced game in development”.
This could be anything really. EGM asked LucasArts if the project features lightsabers, but it wouldn’t confirm or deny the possibility.
There have been hints of a MMO game for Wii U. Maybe this could be the announcement?
We’ll find out in less than two weeks.
No Order Up!! demo on the eShop this week

So, what happened to that Order Up!! demo for the eShop? It’s nowhere to be seen on the digital store this week, and it wasn’t included in Nintendo’s update.
Developer SuperVillain Studios had previously confirmed the demo for today’s eShop update.
… Maybe next week?
Vigil Games given “strict gag order”, can’t talk about Wii U until E3
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
There’s an obvious reason as to why there has been a lack of significant Wii U news in the last year. Nintendo wanted all developers and publishers to keep quiet about the console until this year’s E3, when the company will finally be ready to blow the lid off everything.
So it really isn’t surprising that Vigil Games creative manager Jeremy Greiner has relayed the message that the studio can’t talk about the Wii U version of Darksiders II yet. He’s been given “a strict gag order”, meaning he can’t say much about the game or the console itself.
Greiner said:
“If I didn’t have a strict gag order on me, I’d love to talk about all the great features that we have, but what I can tell you is that it’s a next generation platform, and you should keep your eyes open. We’ll obviously be using the unique controller that it has to its utmost potential, but speaking to specific features or tech effects… well, that’s in Nintendo’s playground right now. And I know that they have plans for E3.”
