Have you purchased Go! Go! Kokopolo yet? Hopefully you’ve at least considered it, as it’s already become of DSiWare’s hidden gems.
For fans of the game out there, there’s good news. TANUKII, the developer behind the title, is already thinking about creating a 3DS enhanced port:
“Yep, I really wanna develop a 3DS enhanced port (with all new levels though, not a straight port – a sequel more like). It’s certainly something in the pipeline…I think a few new characters are waiting to be introduce into the world of Kokopolo too!”

Hurricane Irene has arrived
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Site updates | 0 comments
Hurricane Irene has already been tearing up the East Coast, but now it’s making its way to the Northeastern states. Unfortunately, its track is approaching my region, and I’m expecting it to hit pretty hard here. That means 50-75 mile-per-hour winds (with gusts up to 80 miles-per-hour) and tons of rain. My main concerns are power outages and trees crashing down on the house (there are a few trees right outside that seem like they could fall over with a decent amount of force…)
So if you don’t see any updates (or very minimal updates) today, you can thank old Ireney for that. It’s very possible that a power outage will affect the area, and if that happens, I have no idea when it’ll return. If something does happen, I’ll do my best to post on the site to give you all a heads or or I’ll somehow inform Austin about the situation so he can provide an update.
Anyways, good luck to all of the East Coast residents out there. Stay safe!

Rumor: Monolith Soft’s new game is for 3DS, third game in a series
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
Update: It seems that the latest issue of Nintendo Dream is already available, though it only contains the two details below.
Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft will supposedly be sharing the first details on their next project in an issue of Nintendo Dream. There are just two few details about the title so far. Speculation indicates that it will be an RPG for the 3DS and will be the third entry in a series.
As someone who absolutely loved Baten Kaitos, I can’t help but wish that the announcement is in regards to Baten Kaitos 3. A Baten Kaitos DS game was in development at one point before being mysteriously cancelled. The series is viewed highly in the eyes of critics, but neither game sold particularly well.
Rumor: Epic Mickey 2 in the works
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii | 0 comments
A rumored online survey from Disney seems to indicate that Epic Mickey to is on the way. A few possible boxarts were displayed along with a few name choices: Epic Mickey 2: Return of the Mad Doctor, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Epic Mickey 2: Mystery on Mean Street, and Epic Mickey 2.
This time around, the sequel will end up on Wii, along with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A 2-player split screen mode is planned in which the player could control Mickey Mouse or Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. The survey says that Oswald will be able to “fly like a helicopter” and use electricity to “fight or friend” foes.
That’s assuming the survey is real of course. I have a feeling it is given the commercial success Epic Mickey has experienced.
