kojima2

Gamers who are avid followers of Hideo Kojima’s work have received an early Christmas present – the knowledge that the man is directing two new titles at the same time. The first title that will be revealed is more comparable to Kojima’s previous work, while the second title is being produced by Kojima Productions. Furthermore, Kojima Productions seems to be making the second title with the overseas market in mind. Sadly, no other details were divulged. No mention of a specific platforms for the games or specific gameplay details. Like was the case with Kojima’s most recent secret, I’m going to guess that these two titles will not end up on a Nintendo system. Then again, who knows!

“MotoGP. Neopets Puzzle Adventure. Dead Rising Wii. Spyborgs. [They] are all coming in 2009. Beyond that, we have a few other tricks up our sleeves I can’t talk about yet.” – Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development

I wonder how many Wii titles we’ll see from Capcom in 2009. More ports might be realistic, but perhaps the company has moved on to original titles. Anyone want to take a guess?
