Beat ’em up game Kawaii Deathu Desu coming to Switch in April

Eastasia Soft, Top Hat Studios, and Pippin Games have announced that Kawaii Deathu Desu is releasing soon on Switch. The beat ’em up title will arrive digitally on the eShop on April 16.

Inspired by the likes of One Finger Death Punch, gameplay is rhythmic and addictive, simple yet satisfying. Players select a character to perform in a wide variety of venues, execute unique abilities and beat up overzealous fans as they rush the stage. Using collected souls, each pixel art idol’s appearance can also be customized.
With character-specific gameplay styles, alternate modes for every show, local multiplayer and tons of unlockable extras, Kawaii Deathu Desu turns up the volume on replayability. This is two-button action with an adorably dark twist!
Kawaii Deathu Desu will cost $4.99 / €4.99 on the Switch eShop. Pre-orders begin on April 9, and there will be a 20 percent discount until April 29.
