Shu Takumi talks about some of his mixed feeling for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies

Shu Takumi was not involved with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, as he was working on Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney when development started.
Looking at it an “outsider” so to speak, Takumi has mixed feels about the game. Speaking with ONM, he pointed to the return of Phoenix as an example of his uncertainty, hinting that he may have liked Apollo in the starring role after the new character was introduced in Ace Attorney’s fourth entry. But Takumi does ultimately feel that it’s best to have fresh blood leading the way on Ace Attorney, “as it brings new directions and new story possibilities.”

There’s just one review score in this week’s Famitsu. The magazine handed out three 7’s and one 6 to Spec: Hoshi for a sum of 27 points. A game can receive up to 40 points in total.
