Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
Rumor has it that Nintendo Network ID functionality will be expanded to the 3DS. News about the account system, as well as Hulu support for the platform, is allegedly due later this year.
The speculation comes from Emily Rogers, who has maintained a fairly decent track record when it comes to Nintendo rumors.
Rogers tweeted a short while ago:
Should hear about 3DS NNID account system before end of this year.Hulu coming to 3DS this year.

The Wii U currently incorporates a Nintendo Network ID, which connects to the Nintendo Network. It is used for Miiverse and friend mechanics.

D3Publisher’s initial announcement for Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land contained story details, but didn’t say much about gameplay. Thankfully, Amazon has come through with a bit of information.
Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land offers a mix of action adventure, platforming, arcade shooting. As expected, you’ll play as Mordecai and Rigby, and as previously announced, series creator J. G. Quintel is on board to write an original storyline.
Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land also features 8-bit graphics – something that the title obviously suggests.
Amazon is listing a tentative October 29 release date and $29.99 price point for Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land. You can pre-order the game here.

Nintendo at E3 – a look back – E3 2009 and E3 2010
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, Features, General Nintendo, Videos, Wii | 0 comments
After Nintendo’s incredibly disappointing E3 2008 conference, the company rebounded somewhat in 2009.
Thankfully, Cammie Dunaway said nothing about smiling or breaking her wrist snowboarding. This was, mostly, all about the games.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii started things off. An on-stage demo was held so that the game could be demonstrated for the first time.
Nintendo followed with Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit Plus.
Time was also taken to highlight RPGs for the Wii and DS – Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story localization, and one brand new title: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.
Nintendo closed out its conference with three big reveals: the Wii Vitality Sensor (which never made it to market), Super Mario Galaxy 2, and the surprising Metroid: Other M.
Overall, not bad at all considering how horrendous E3 2009 was!
