– Game case comes with Zekrom or Reshiram art, comes inside a box with the Ken Sugimori art
– Black or white patterns on the game case background depending on the version
– Get Victini after you obtain the Liberty Ticket, it will have Incinerate, Quick Attack, Endure, and Confusion
– Incinerate = 15pp, burns the berries on your opponents so they can’t be used
– Victini on the PokeDex: “It makes limitless energy inside its body. It releases this energy on any Pokemon who touches it.”
– Victini can be found in the Liberty Garden Island lighthouse, in the basement
– Scenario for the lighthouse is that you’re investigating the island, meet Victini while you do so
– Victini will reappear if you K.O. it
– Get the Liberty Ticket through Wi-Fi (Sept. 18 – Oct. 18)
– The terrain in Isshu will change based on the year
– Different wild Pokemon based on season, location
– Access different parts of the map during different seasons (ex: enough snow piled up during winter to visit the top of a cliff)
– PokeShifter mini-game: Transfer Pokemon from previous games to Black/White
– Choose 6 Pokemon to transfer for the PokeShifter, will encounter them in a grassy field in Black/White on the second DS
– Use a sling shot to shoot Pokeballs at your Pokemon as they jump out of the grass and back in, when you hit them you re-capture them
– Can only get the PokeShifter after you defeat the Elite Four
– Go to dark green grass for dual wild Pokemon battles
– You, Belle, Cheren head off from your hometown to Kanokota Town, encounter Team Plasma
– One of Team Plasma’s leaders is giving a speech to the local trainers, says “As humans, what is it that we should do?”
– TMs won’t expire after you use them once (now can use them unlimited times)
– Journey focuses on obtaining eight badges
– Shippou City is a traditional city, has a museum (part of the gym), rail lines are 100 years-old
– Need to answer questions to battle the first two gym leaders (Dento and Aloe)
– One question in Dento’s Gym asks about type compatibility, Aloe’s Gym asks “What’s is something that you eat, is warmed in a pan, and is delicious?”
– Aloe’s quizk more general, not about Pokemon much
– Musical Contests are in the Musical Hall
– Can find costumes and other Pokemon Musical accessories in the Goods Case stores
– Can obtain gifts from fans in the audience after the show ends
– Makomo resides in Sanyou City
– Deru Power: New item for the abilities you win in High Link missions
– Some abilities can double your EXP
– EXP Points ability: Anyone nearby using C-Gear will get the effect too (share abilities with nearby players)
– Can trade these abilities with players
– Get the Deru Power from the Entrance Tree in the High Link area
– You’ll encounter a Vaporeon in the Dream World, has Hydration ability
– This means Pokemon can now have non-standard abilities
– Other Eevee evolutions that are obtainable in the Dream World will have different abilities than usual
– A bunch of Pokemon you find in your dream will have different abilities than usual
– It is possible to trade berries and items obtained in the High Link with other players
– Leave items on the shelves to trade
– No berries in Isshu
– Berries are only in the Dream World
– Download new covers for the C-Gear and PokeDex, new songs for the Musical Contests via the Global Link
– Dento, Iris, Kibago will join Ash and Pikachu on their Isshu journeys
