“The reason why I said today that April, May and June sales of Wii will not reach last year’s results but that the situation will change from summer this year was because the company has been preparing for several titles to be launched toward the end of this year that can drive the market.” – Iwata

I can’t really say that I’m surprised by this news. We know that Nintendo will have one game for the holidays, and will probably launch at least one other in earlier months.

This information comes from a recent 1UP Yours podcast…

“We’re going to have the English build playable on the show floor at our booth at E3… [Localization is] going great. I think people will be pleasantly surprised that we’re leaving a lot of it in tact and we’re not [messing] with it so much. There will be subtitles available…That’s a reveal on that podcast.” – Director of Business Development, Ignition Entertainment

I know a lot of you were pretty surprised (myself included) when XSEED said that they were no longer the published of Muramasa. However, it seems as though Ignition is doing more than a respectable job with localizing the title.

“It’s the very end. If I had to say one word, I’d say it’s at the very end of production. No, not playable [at E3]. I’m looking forward to it. Hopefully [presentation/showing at E3]…” – Suda 51

Suda 51 also revealed that there were many requests to see No More Heroes on other consoles. While the possibility was discussed, there is no plan to spread the IP to other systems yet.

“The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest is the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families with accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colorful rendition of Middle-Earth. Players assume the role of Strider and embark on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together.”

This little blurb was found on a list send out by the ESA. Warner Bros. Interactive. will be publishing the project and more information is expected when E3 kicks off next month.
