Eidos announced their latest creation Mini Ninjas earlier today. What they didn’t tell you, however, is that the game will feature a farting boss. According to the ESRB, there is one particular boss fight that “attacks with flatulence, using fans to wave green gas clouds towards the player.” Check out the full ESRB description below:
“This is an action adventure game in which players control a small ninja as he explores forest environments, fetches items for others, and fights samurai enemies. The main character uses a sword to attack and defeat enemies, and there are occasional boss battles that use life meters to measure damage inflicted. One boss character attacks with flatulence, using fans to wave green gas clouds towards the player.”
Obama saves missing DS systems from peril

Fourth-grader Olivia Yeager recently had the chance to have a get together with Malia and Sasha, Barack Obama’s daughters. All three of the children are DS owners and had wanted to be able to play their games for a few hours. However, both of the Obama daughters DS systems were missing.
After searching in the Oval Office, the main hall, the secret halls, and coming into contact with the secret service, the three girls took a break from their adventure. Then, Obama himself happened to stop by the area and his daughters asked him if he knew where their DSs were. Luckily, the soon-to-be President, for some reason or another, had the systems and gave them to his children. Olivia, Malia, and Sasha were then able to play their hearts out for hours.
It’s a nice story, isn’t it? Nintendo must be pretty proud as well – Not only does the Obama family own a Wii, but Obama’s daughters are avid DS gamers as well!
MadWorld producer: MadWorld is not sinister, game is for adults only

“I feel it’s very important to reiterate at every opportunity that this game is not sinister. I also feel that it’s important that the media and the developers communicate this to adult gamers out there in the world; this is a game for adults. Above all, this is a game. What happens in it – happens in it is a game. It all takes place in a video game environment.” – MadWorld producer Atsushi Inaba
It seems as though a few misinformed people are unaware of MadWorld’s real tone. The game is not just a bunch of violent sequences strung together. Rather, the developers have stated numerous times before that they are aiming for the game to be over-the-top in a comical sense. There doesn’t seem as though there should be a problem granted parents are aware of the game’s rating (and if media don’t take the game too seriously).
Klonoa director hopeful for an original game

“We currently don’t have anything planned [original Klonoa game], but I’m hoping we will be able to come up with a new Klonoa game.” – Klonoa director Hideo Yoshizawa
You may remember that Yoshizawa also told Nintendo Power that Klonoa 2 could end up on Wii. It looks as though a lot of Klonoa love is heading Nintendo’s way!
