It’s not every day that one hears a young boy takes a family car, drives off to visit his grandmother, and eventually explains that video games taught him how to do such an act. However, that is exactly what one child did. Following reports of an unmanned car, a police officer found the 9-year-old in a store parking lot. The boy said, “It’s my first time driving, but I learned from watching dad and playing at the video arcade.”

The boy was able to drive the car “by sitting at the front of the seat and clinging to wheel.” The parents were warned to watch over their car more carefully in the future.

Update: Some believe that the picture above might have been photoshopped. Obviously, if the image was indeed photoshopped, the news originally reported may also turn out to be false. Looks like we’ll have to wait for December to roll around, or an official statement from Opera/Nintendo to see if this update is the real deal.

– Buttons are new
– Compatible with Wii Speak
– Can have six tabs open at once (can be made invisible)
– View Wii mail from the browser
– Available in December for 500 points
– Owners of the browser do not have to pay for the upgrade

2D Boy confirmed today that World of Goo will be available on WiiWare in Europe. The game will most likely release in December for about 1500 Wii points, the same price as it is in North America.
