It’s a long time since the not-quite-so-crack team of Zblucops have won any awards for their police work. But when an Evil Super-Villain recruits all the Bad Guys in Zbluville – and unleashes them on the unsuspecting town – it’s time for the real Heroes to step forward.

From Playmo to Papa Louis, from Tistu to Jubbei, the rough-and-ready team have to use all their ingenuity (not much), powers (strange) and strength (uncontrollable) to outwit the Dark Forces.

Check out the website and trailer to learn more about this friendship-destroying RPG-board game

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 20, 2009 – Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today launched the website (www.atlus.com/dokaponjourney) and trailer for Dokapon Journey™ for Nintendo DS™. Brave adventurers in search of fame and fortune are invited to hit the road… literally. In this RPG-board game, monsters have invaded the Kingdom of Dokapon, and the King has offered his throne and the hand of his daughter to any challenger who would rise to the occasion and save the land. Alas, that kind of offer is bound to attract some very over-determined adventurers…

Alone against devilish AI, or together with up to three of your friends via single- or multi-card local wireless play, sign up to save the Kingdom and win the throne. Just make sure to sabotage the competition at every chance you get!

“Climax are one of the leading creative lights of independent games development with a great history, but our future is even more exciting with awesome titles such Overlord: Dark Legend for Codemasters, our stunning and refreshing take on the horror genre and our original ground breaking next-gen game for the PS3 and the Xbox 360.” – Climax website

Keep in mind that Climax has done work on the Silent Hill franchise in the past and the company’s website job posting notice (see above) is related to Silent Hill. So it looks like this secret game could end up being a new title in the series for the Wii.

Big Bang Mini, which was released for the Nintendo DS only a few weeks ago, will see a sequel in 2010. SouthPeak Interactive revealed this information in a conference call earlier this week. No specific details were shared, but SouthPeak says the experience will be “expanded.”
