Epic Mickey: Rebrushed footage

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was announced for Switch during a Nintendo Direct a couple of months ago, but we didn’t see a whole lot from the remake. That’s new changed with some new footage which just came in.

GameSpot posted the video, which contains eight minutes of gameplay. One of the early sections is shown here, including some 2D platforming.

Ori 3

Although Moon Studios has ideas for Ori 3, fans shouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon.

Studio CEO and creative director Thomas Mahler told Game Informer that he actually has a title in mind for a third entry. However, he mentioned that the company is currently focusing on its next game, No Rest for the Wicked.

Logiart Grimoire

Jupiter, the studio behind the Picross S games, has set a release date for Logiart Grimoire on Switch. The title will be available on April 18, 2024.

Logiart Grimoire was previously announced for Switch last August. We knew it would be arriving sometime this year, but when exactly was unknown.

Tales from Candleforth

Tales from Candleforth is seeing release on Switch this month, publisher Feardemic and developer Under the Bed Games announced today. The launch will be taking place on April 30, 2024.

Tales from Candleforth is a folk horror point-and-click adventure game featuring “a collection of fairy tales that were written on top of a forbidden book many years ago to hide its content.” More information can be found in the following overview:

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Android 18 (DB Super), Videl (DB Super)

Bandai Namco and Dimps continued with DLC announcements for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 today, revealing that Android 18 (DB Super) and Videl (DB Super) are both joining the game. They’ll be available as part of “Future Saga Chapter 1”.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 first shared its Future Saga Chapter 1 DLC last month. It’ll come with an additional scenario, Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose, Ultra Supervillain), Vegeta (Super Saiyan God, Ultra Supervillain), and more. Read more about it here.

Dicefolk

Dicefolk is making the jump to Switch, publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment and developers Leap Game Studios and Tiny Ghoul announced today. The title is hitting Nintendo’s console later in 2024.

Dicefolk is a tactical roguelike that features a mix of dice-based combat with monster recruiting mechanics. Further details are included in the following overview:

Mortal Kombat 1 Ermac

Ermac, the next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1, now has a release date. For Early Access players, it’ll be out on April 16. Everyone else can begin using the character on April 23.

Note that Mavado is also on the way. The launch for this one is set for May.

Amber Isle

Publisher Team17 and developer Ambertail Games, supported by Northern Ireland Screen, today announced a partnership to publish Amber Isle. It will be available on Switch when it’s ready.

Amber Isle is a dino-centric shop management sim that welcomes players to a friendly village filled with a mix of prehistoric animals (Paleofolk). They’ll play as a new shopkeeper as they stock their store with everything their Paleo-pals might need and look to save the island from the brink of fossilization.

Cryptrio

Chequered Ink is putting Cryptrio on Switch this week, the studio has announced. The title is due out on April 12, 2024.

Cryptrio is a spooky new match three experience with a twist. Players will enter the crypt and stack monsters to score points. The idea is to match three of the same kind of monster to defeat them, but they’re all different shapes.
