3DS

Two 3DS titles from Renegade Kid remain in limbo. Neither Planet Crashers nor ATV Wild Ride 3D have been released yet.

Both were originally announced as retail games, but they may end up on the eShop instead. The final decision lies in the hands of publisher Ignition Entertainment.

Based on what we found out about Order Up on Thursday, it’s more than possible that Planet Crashers and ATV Wild Ride 3D will skip store shelves for the 3DS’ digital store.

Viking Invasion made it out for DSiWare a couple of years ago. BiP media has today revealed a sequel for the eShop.

Officially titled Viking Invasion 2: Olaf’s Return, the game will feature new Viking units, new towers, and more. It seem as though there will be some sort of divine intervention/periodic superpowers as well. Players will be able to experience the the game in 3D.

Viking Invasion 2 is currently without a release date. You can find some concept art of the project in the gallery above.

Collecting Smiles President & Founder Jens Andersson is very much intrigued by the idea of bringing Colors! 3D to Wii U. He was quick to confirm that “nothing has been decided here yet”, but the possibility remains.

Andersson has also offered praise for the 3DS eShop, noting how it’s “quickly becoming a great platforms for smaller developers”. We may see some of his prototypes come to the store as complete games sometime in the future.

Speaking about the chances of Colors! on Wii U, Andersson said:

“I hope so. I’d very much like to see Colors! on Wii U for example, but nothing has been decided here yet. Also, it seems like the eShop is quickly becoming a great platforms for smaller developers like me, so at some point I hope to develop some of the game prototypes I’ve been working on into full games and publish them there.”

Little Battler eXperience Explosive Boost (this is a more accurate English title apparently) is more than just a simple port of the PSP original.

According to CoroCoro Comics, after splitting into teams, up to six players can battle with each other wirelessly. This is the first time such functionality has been added to a Little Battler eXperience title.

Also new to Explosive Boost are LBX units such as B Kid, Princess M, Dominion and Crusader.

Thanks to 4Him for the tip.
