The OFLC has added new listings for Prince of Persia and Rayman. Prince of Persia was rated for both Wii and 3DS while Rayman was rated only for Nintendo’s handheld.

It’s very possible that these listings are related to upcoming Virtual Console releases. We’ll let you know if Ubisoft says anything official.

It’s now well-known that the clouds and bushes in Super Mario Bros. use the same sprite. The two are only separated by their color – of course, the clouds are white while the bushes are green. Other than that, they’re entirely the same.

It seems as though the “cloud bush” has made a return in Mario Kart 7. As you can see in the image below, the clouds and bushes appear to be the same.

You can see this for yourself in the Piranha Plant Pipeway track.

Usually we don’t see comparisons like this. It’s an odd, yet interesting way to compare the two games…

Despite the fact that we just received the first screenshots of 3D Classics: Kid Icarus, it’s already available for download in Japan. Those who participate in the “Chotto Mario na Nintendo 3DS Present Campaign” (A Little Mario-like Nintendo 3DS Present Campaign) can receive the title for free. Simply register a couple of games at Club Nintendo to obtain Kid Icarus. You’ll also be entered in a drawing to win one of three special Mario-themed 3DS systems.

Nintendo is running a similar event in Europe. You can find more information about that here.

3D Classics: Kid Icarus will go live for everyone on January 18. 3DS owners who aren’t interested in joining the campaign can purchase it for 600 yen.
