3DS

The promising 3DS title “Time Travelers” is making the jump to PSP and Vita. Famitsu revealed that the project will be made available on Sony’s handhelds as well as the 3DS.

Level-5 originally announced Time Travelers for the 3DS during a press conference late last year. A good amount of the game’s buzz has been related to the fact that Jiro Ishii would be directing. Ishii has been involved with a variety of acclaimed titles, such as 428. It received a perfect score from Famitsu a few years ago.

Time Travelers is due out in Japan in 2012.

Other than the news that the Jett Rocket property is coming to the 3DS eShop, Shin’en had a couple of other nuggets to share.

First, Jett Rocket isn’t the only eShop game the studio is working on. A second, mysterious title is in development. The only bit of information we have is that the project will make use of Miis.

Shin’en also teased an upcoming demo for an already-released WiiWare title. Demos for Jett Rocket and Art of Balance have already been published, so that only leaves us with two possibilities: Fun! Fun! Minigolf or FAST – Racing League.

Tales of the Abyss will be available in North America on February 14, 2012.

Tales of the Abyss, the critically-acclaimed PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system role playing game, is updated for the Nintendo 3DS system. The upcoming title delivers full 3D support and use of the dual screens to bring players closer to the action. Tales of the Abyss tells the story of Luke fon Fabre, sole heir to a family of aristocrats, as he is suddenly thrust into the outside world on an epic adventure. Naïve and spoiled by years of isolation, Luke struggles to learn of friendship, sacrifice, duty and of choice. With the fates of many in his hands, Luke’s actions could ultimately save the world or bring about its very destruction.

The series’ trademark real-time battle system returns with increased mobility in the “Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System.” The updated battle system allows players to run in any direction while engaged in battle. Throughout the game, characters will learn AD Skills, acquired with the use of Capacity Cores, stat increasing items given out as characters level up. AD Skills can be equipped and unequipped at will during battles. The battle system also introduces Field of Fonons, a special system that allows players to charge elemental attacks through repeated use. Once the Field of Fonons is charged, players can execute a technique that corresponds to the elemental alignment represented on the screen to create an upgraded, powerful version of the attack.

PES 2012 3D heads online

New modes, new control options, and full online functionality confirmed
October 11th, 2011

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has outlined its plans for PES 2012 3D, which will include full support to allow Nintendo 3DS™ users to play other users online.

PES 2012 3D will offer unrivalled realism, and allow users exclusive entry into its recreation of the UEFA Champions League™ tournament, and also allows users to experience the thrills of South America’s high-intensity Copa Libertadores league. Full control is offered over the game, with every pass, through ball, tackle and shot left to the player, and accessible via either the Circle Pad and buttons, or via a new Touch Screen control system where players use the Nintendo 3DS stylus to move their players.

Following an initial report that Jett Rocket is coming to the 3DS, Shin’en has officially confirmed to Nintendo Everything that the series will be making an appearance on the eShop. And, better yet, it seems that this is an entirely new project rather than a port of the WiiWare game.

Shin’en is being quiet on things for now, but you can expect details later this month.
