Star Wars Pinball content is coming to Pinball FX2, Zen Pinball, and Zen Pinball 2. Strangely, when Zen Studios announced the DLC, it made no mention of the Wii U eShop version.

No need to fret, though – it seems the Wii U will be getting some love after all.

When a fan made a remark about Star Wars Pinball for Wii U on Zen Studios’ blog, one staffer said: “The force is strong with Wii U”. The employee later replied to another Wii U comment, noting: “Details coming soon!”

It won’t be long now before we receive new information about Pokemon X/Y. The latest episode of Pokemon Smash confirmed that an update will be shared during next week’s show, and Japanese magazine CoroCoro will have details (and presumably new shots) as well. CoroCoro should leak out before Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled!

Between March 20 and May 6, gamers in Japan can add a special Pokemon to their copies of Black/White 2. The Pokemon Center in Nagoya will be distributing a level 99 Shiny Magikarp to celebrate the moving of the store into a new building.

Each Magikarp comes with a Rare Candy. Flail, Hydro Pump, Bounce, and Splash moves are attached to the Pokemon.

A few days ago, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate producer David Cox made a few comments that seemed to leave the door open to a future re-release on new platforms.

First, Cox mentioned to CVG how the game’s assets were all initially produced in HD. He later told the site that an HD version for consoles could be considered, though didn’t indicate that anything was imminent.

Naturally, Cox’s comments spread and resulted in numerous rumors. In order to clarify his original statements, Cox took to Twitter and responded to fans:

Cox also flat-out denied a pair of rumors – one stating that an HD collection would be released on the Xbox 360 with Mirror of Fate, and another saying that the 3DS game will be heading to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

It’s impossible to deny that the Wii U has received a healthy dose of indie support thus far. The future looks bright with more developers pledging support for the system.

One title that won’t be coming to the eShop is Strike Suit Zero. While the team considered a Wii U version, there were only discussions for a brief time.

Born Ready Games community manager Ben Smith told Writer Trigger:

“There were brief discussions about how a Wii U version might work, but they never got further than the ideas station.”

Developers and publishers from around the world gathered at the D.I.C.E. Summit earlier this week. For Wii U, the main piece of news stemming from the event concerns the delay of Rayman Legends. But that’s not all – there’s another concerning Wii U update to discuss.

Sidhe co-founder Mario Wynands writes that other devs and publishers were discussing “the Wii U projects that have just been cancelled” rather than “the new Wii U projects they have started”:

At DICE, nobody has been talking about the new Wii U projects they have started, only the Wii U projects that have just been cancelled.

Platform is in serious trouble.
